School rugby at Akuna Oval

Some amazing school rugby was held at the club on Tuesday 5th with BBC and IGS conducting competitive trials from U12 up through to U18 on Kenmore’s two fields. The speed and intensity of rugby was awesome with some extremely talented, fast and strong kids showing us their paces. Andrew and Bec (our mild-mannered Registrar) in the canteen pumped out 58 pizzas to order, 15Kgs of hot chips, and 10,000 chicken nuggets. Ok it wasn’t 10,000, it just felt like it with all those hungry boys!

Equipment Shed

The state of the shed has been a vast improvement on previous weeks. A big thanks to everyone who is helping to keep it tidy.

Thank you Daiana Walker

Daiana Walker has been helping out behind the canteen the last few weeks and we just wanted to publicly say thank you Daiana, it’s much appreciated! If you get served by Daiana, say thanks too!

If you too would like to help, please come and say hi at the canteen on Friday training nights.
