Stephen Moore visiting THIS FRIDAY!

With thanks to BMW for sponsoring the visit, we have Stephen Moore from the Wallabies and Reds visiting us from 6pm to 8:30pm on Friday 3rd August. Note that this date has changed from the previously advertised date. Stephen will train with some of the teams and take autographs before he leaves.

In the photo here, Brett (our president) and Tom (our secretary) joined Stephen Moore to celebrate with Anthony Alafaci (BMW) the 10-year jubilee of Westside BMW. Westside BMW, with General Manager Anthony Alafaci, is a major sponsor of Kenmore Junior Rugby. Westside BMW is also supporting Yourtown, Australia’s leading youth support charity that also runs KidsHelpline. As a gesture of its appreciation for Westside BMW’s support, Kenmore Rugby Club is donating personal care products to assist disadvantaged young adults prepare for entry into the workplace. Please show your support by helping to fill the orange bags in the Rugby Club.

Stephen Moore has previously visited Kenmore – we’re sure you’ll get some photos with him like this one. Please make sure you’re wearing your BMW training t-shirts for promotional photos!

Special reminders

Folks, we know that the vast majority of are you already great at this, but please everyone can you tidy up after yourselves on training nights. We love to see you all socialising but leaving your bottles around when there are bins right next to your tables is unfair on all the volunteers who run the club and have to clean up after everyone has left.

Secondly – please DO NOT take alcohol on to the fields at any time. The club’s liquor licence only allows drinks on the club patio. Thank you for your co-operation!
